AZ Urban Studio was appointed as planning and property advisor to the London Borough of Enfield in relation to the production of the Ponders End Framework for Change, a comprehensive masterplan and delivery strategy which will inform the North-East Enfield Area Action Plan and future site-specific SPDs.

AZ provided planning, property and development feasibility services throughout the evolution of the project to enable a deliverable framework to be produced. This involved detailed analysis of market conditions and site constraints, as well as testing design propositions through to detailed development appraisal modelling.

Following the completion of the framework, our commission was extended to include the production of planning briefs for three key sites and further advice on development and delivery including valuation, strategic land acquisitions and potential delivery vehicles.

The project was awarded the Mayor of London’s Planning Award.
