AZ Urban Studio has secured planning permission for office extension on top of an existing building on a site in London Bridge adjoining a Conservation Area.  The development adds approximately 25% more space to the existing building while protecting the amenity of adjoining occupiers and enhancing the surrounding townscape.

Due to the relatively small size of the floor plates, the building is configured to be attractive to SMEs,  and it is hoped it will benefit the continued economic regeneration of SE1.  The sophisticated design by MW Architects adds nearly 100 Sqm of B1 office space to the existing building; the folded roof maximises views while protecting the amenity of adjoining occupiers. 

AZ Urban Studio managed the application including negotiations with the LPA and coordination of all specialist consultants.
