AZ Urban Studio secured planning permission for the demolition of a two storey dwelling and the erection of a larger three storey replacement dwelling with basement level in an attractive private road in Radlett, Hertfordshire. Working with Jane Duncan Architects, AZ Urban Studio were appointed to provide planning advice and support post-application submission, but prior to the determination of the application at the Council’s Planning Committee.
Our team prepared a comprehensive Planning Statement addressing neighbour and Ward Councillor objections, and presented the case to the Planning Committee, setting out the merits of the scheme and its compliance with local and national planning policy. Members voted to grant planning permission for the scheme.
The project is one of a number of large private houses that we have secured planning permission for working with Jane Duncan Architects.
