AZ Urban Studio was appointed with TP Bennetts architects to prepare an outline feasibility study and massing proposal for a 0.29 hectare site in Docklands currently occupied by a 2,800 SqM office building.
The study was commissioned by EA Shaw to act as a briefing document to complement the sale of the site. The study involved a review all planning policy, detailed mapping of recent planning permissions as well as an investigation of the sites physical opportunities and constraints.
The proposed design solution, delivers a project that addresses the various technical parameters of the site and optimizes the regeneration potential. Whilst not prescribing a specific design solution but rather helping to illustrate the sites development potential.
The site which has now been sold (STC) subject to planning.
