AZ Urban Studio has secured planning permission for the construction of three padel courts and new ground keepers facilities within the St Georges Hill Lawn Tennis Club grounds. The project builds on the earlier permission for a new Fitness Studio and will assist in the revitalisation and modernisation of this important club.

The Tennis Club is an essential part of the St Georges Hill Estate, a private estate in Surrey known for its arts and crafts style.

The three padel courts will replace one tennis court and be housed in a semi-open but covered enclosure. This will allow play during poor weather and, critically, ensure acoustic mitigation.

AZ Urban Studio led all planning aspects and acted as the agent for negotiations with the Local Planning Authority, resulting in planning permission approval by the full planning committee.

AZ Urban Studio is overseeing the application with the Resident’s Association.
